PfannenProfis tip on how to use: This item comes already completely seasoned but of course it does not have an artificial non-stick coating. If you are not used to cooking with cast iron be advised that it is recommended to prepare the surface before frying delicate foods like pancakes for the first time: To do so, just apply a thin coat of oil to the frying surface, heat it carefully until it starts to smoke; let it cool down, wipe it off and repeat process a few times if needed.
